In 1947, just after World War Two, Beechcraft released the Bonanza, one of the first civilian planes built since Beechcraft had converted back from military production. It has gone on to become the longest production-run aircraft to date, as of 2009, with a variant still being produced by Hawker. More than 17,000 Bonanzas have been produced in a number of different variants. This particular model represents the A36, the most modernized variant produced by Beechcraft, which contains several upgrades including a new engine. High-quality construction and a detailed finish make it a must-have for any collection.
